Isleworth Sourdough


My most popular and award winning loaf! The Isleworth Sourdough is made with organic white flour, my organic rye starter, sea salt and water. As with all good sourdough it takes considerable time to make.  Over a minimum of 48 hours the dough is mixed, stretched, folded, rested, shaped, proofed overnight in the fridge and eventually baked in my semi-professional Rofco oven.

An oval white wheat organic sourdough loaf made over a 48 hour period where it is stretched, folded, shaped, rested and baked. I use my locally produced rye starter with just four ingredients - wheat flour, rye flour, salt and water - and a lot of time.   

Great fresh or toasted. Keeps well in an airtight container or can be frozen.
