Frequently Asked Questions
Here is my list of answers to the most popular questions about Daly Bread.
When are Bake Days?
Main bake days are every Friday and Thursdays for gluten free bakes, subject to demand or holiday. I will also do occasional ‘Pop- up’ bake days too.
I bake regular breads each week including Isleworth Sourdough and Seeded Sourdough, as well as different specials and usually a sweet treat. All items are listed on the bakery page.
How do I order?
Choose the product/s of choice and pay by credit or debit card. It’s that simple. Payment to be made at time of ordering to guarantee your order.
Please ensure that you have read the description of the items that you are ordering to ensure that there are no issues for those in your household with potential allergens. If in any doubt please ask.
Order 2 days ahead of the bake day minimum – Wednesday by 6pm latest for Friday bakes. Please be aware that if you order after this time, I cannot guarantee your order for the given day.
If the item you want is showing as out of stock you will have to wait to order for next time.
Want to set up a regular Bread Order?
Consider Daly Bread Club. You can order and pay for 4 weeks bread at a time. You can also pause your order if you are going to be away.
How do I collect my order?
Collection of your Daly Bread is from my Bread Shed in my garden on Dawes Avenue, off Worple Avenue/Twickenham Road, TW7 7JT on Fridays between 5 – 6:30 pm or Saturdays 9 -10:30am.
Please call me when you arrive. I will bring your order to the garden door at the right of the house. You do not need to ring the doorbell or come to the main door.
If you can offer to collect a neighbours order that would be great. I may ask if you are passing another customer’s house to assist.
I will confirm my full address and contact number to the email address that you order from – please check your junk or promotional folders just in case it goes there.
Collections from Old Isleworth Market
When the market is running you will have the option of collecting your order from my stall there on Saturdays at Shrewsbury Walk, Old Isleworth TW7 7DE. Dates for 2021 are yet to be confirmed.
Please remember to wear a mask and keep a social distance from others when collecting your order.
Unable to collect or self isolating?
If you are self isolating or unable to collect but would like to order – please let me know. Don’t forget to give your name and postal address so that I can see if I can get an order to you.
How will my order be packaged?
As an environmentally friendly bakery I try to use as little packaging as possible. Currently I use small environmentally friendly paper bags for individual bakes purchased from Vegware. Please remember to bring a bag for your bakes if you have several items to collect, or if it’s raining!
How do I find out what’s baking each week?
Sign up to my bread list contact/ for a weekly update email of what’s baking. Please check your spam or promotional folder for this email in case it is filtered here. Alternatively check the bakery pages to see what’s baking each week.
